Oakham tenor failed in 1924. There is a first hand account of this,
and photos in 'Time in Rutland' by Robert Ovens and Sheila Sleath -
an excellent book. One was recently for sale on abebooks for @ £24,
but it is still available new, @£30. When the tenor failed it
damaged the 7th. Both were recast with added metal.
