According to Chris Dalton's Dorset part III, Roskelly was the last of the
Closworth founders, working with William Elery (another Closworth founder)
to cast a bell at Melbury Osmond in 1752, then working on his own. His last
known bell, at Bishops Caundle in Dorset, is dated 1758. Only six bells by
him are known to survive. He was succeeded by James Smith, who was the last
of the Closworth founders.
