All the drawings of steam locos I've got show either Tons and Cwt or Tons,
Cwt and Qtrs.

When I was a kid (no, contrary to poular belief, school lessons were 
not all in Latin in those days!) most very large objects (steam trains, 
boats, lorries, etc.) were weighed in cwts qr lbs.
