His first name was George. the "H" is not given. He rang 8 peals between 1914 and 1921, according to Pealbase

Subject: [Bell Historians] G.H. Phillott

Dear friends and colleagues,
Does anyone know the full name of a Mr G.H. Phillott? He seems to be associated broadly with ringing in Gloucestershire and wrote about Painswick as well.

Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Scott
