I did a word search of the RW for Foxearth from 1970 – 2000, during which period there seem to have been six peals and the following quarters:

1973:

1977:

1983:

1990

If Oliver has rung at Foxearth he might appreciate why it has proved not to have been a popular venue for quarter peals! I rang there is 1976 but note that the bells are now listed as unringable though I am not aware as to when this listing came into force.

I was wondering if anyone has details of quarter peals rung at these two towers from the 1970s until the present day?, judging by my own research foxearth doesn’t really seem to have been a popular venue whilst Harare doesn’t seem to have done much ringing during the 1970s.

Many thanks
