been chimed in living memory.</FONT></DIV>

stability or otherwise of the tower. Inside there was a very big arch=20
adjoining the Nave. On the other side, facing the outside was an equally =

stained glass window. This meant that the tower was virtually standing on=

remaining two sides. </FONT></DIV>

Briant around 1812/13 (? 4th). Briant cast 19 bells during that period fo=

Shropshire - the two eights at St Alkmund Shrewsbury and Condover - the t=
wo=20
trebles for High Ercall - and the recast bell for the Abbey. </FONT></DIV=
