All the bells have a little wear and a few rough edges. As for the notes we do not have the equipment to suspend them but as you could imagine they are very heavy and thickwalled which should produce a great sound. As far as I know they were bought in a sale so history is a little difficult. These bells are the last few remaining of the batch discovered by Dave Kelly over a year ago - two of them are still listed (with notes) on the KeltekTrust "Bells available list". The reason that these were left is because the owner wanted more money for these three because they were cast during WW2 - the other bells in the batch were cheaper (about £450 + VAT from memory) and were cast later, therefore they had less wear/damage. We had one pass through the works which had never been used, the tuning marks were shinyand there was still moulding loam on the inside!<BR>

Having seen these three bells, they were not the best examples and are certainly not worth what they are asking for them - the 1944 bell may be cracked (again from memory).<BR>
