11-2-4=20
with full ringing fittings and frame inclusive of installation in May 1887 =

supplied 3 more bells (with no mention of frame, fittings or installation) =

August, at which time they took the old bell, presumably that provided=
when=20
the church was built earlier in the century. I have a Xerox copy of a=20
photograph, indicating a Commissioners' type church with a none-too-large w=
est=20
tower and spire. It was demolished <EM>circa </EM>1960.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>The non-supply of fittings etc for th=
e three=20
trebles is a bit suspicious, but perhaps a local builder copied those made =
for=20
the three tenors (which were installed). </FONT></DIV>

II (1956) and III (1962) give 8. - tubular bells; but RHD himself subsequen=

told me that this was a mistake copied up from St Bartholomew's church. the=

entry following St Philip's. He had not seen, nor rung on the=20
bells.</FONT></DIV>
