(removed 1919) together with the small service bell which formerly hung ove=

the transepts and a dish bell from the monastic refectory - all of the=

housed in the Abbey's undercroft museum. Then there's.....no, someone else'=

museum's<BR>assertion there are no bells there by Devizes' own founder, J=

Burrough.<BR>However you can hear his bells not only as the front two at=

Devizes St John,<BR>but also every quarter from the Market Hall clock, wh=

think is a better<BR>memorial than having them in a museum.<BR><BR>There =

also a set of Wells handbells at the pub at Sutton Veny which I<BR>don't =
