steel bells for chiming at at the Millenium Galleries in Sheffield, which=

be pretty unique. And of course, the old treble of six from Westminster A=

(removed 1919) together with the small service bell which formerly hung o=
ver=20
one the transepts and a dish bell from the monastic refectory - all =

them now housed in the Abbey's undercroft museum. Then there's.....no, so=

of. Contrary to the museum's<BR>assertion there are no bells ther=

Devizes' own founder, James Burrough.<BR>However you can hear his bells=

only as the front two at Devizes St John,<BR>but also every quarter fro=

Market Hall clock, which I think is a better<BR>memorial than having th=
