<DIV>Before Gillett & Co installed the six bells at Corbridge there were
three bells by AP in the tower. 21<FONT size=1>3/8</FONT><FONT size=2> - 26 -
28</FONT><FONT size=1>1/2 inches. </FONT><FONT size=2>It is said that one of
these bells was given to a local mansion but as yet I have not been able to
check this out. All three were dated 1729.</FONT></DIV>
