bits. Only problem was that the hour hammer didn't get pulled back fa=

enough and we broke it. I went back a few days later and repaired it =

applying a splint (a hammer stave and a handful of crocodile clips). =

Apparently it struck midnoght that night, and carried on striking until the=
=20
churchwarden ascended the tower in his pyjamas and disengaged=20
