So then, anyone got details of this recently-announced merger of Taylor's a=
nd Eayre & Smith?
So far all I have gleaned (from several sources) is that the merged firm wi=
ll trade as Taylors Eayre & Smith Ltd, and that Stephen Colley (currently a=
director of E&S) will be one of the directors. I learn from another source=
that it is intended to close the Melbourne works and transfer all work to =
Loughborough.
Anyone have any more information? - like who the other directors will be (a=
ll directors from both firms?), and whether both firms' designs of frames a=
nd fittings will continue to be produced?
