There is a Barwell clock c= hime of five at Tyndale Baptist Church, Clifton, Bristol. About the same pe= riod and very odd they sound as well. Certainly not 1,2,3,6 & 10 of 10 whic= h the were apparently aiming at at at Ascot. I was very interested (and amused) by the account of the Great Bells of Asc= ot Priory, one of which Sharpe dismisses in a couple of lines, the other no= t being mentioned. Presumably the method odf sounding the large one is uniq= ue? Is there any other information, as to frames/fittings/ inscriptions?
