Not history; but please can anyone point us towards making our bells, at Br=
omham Wilts, quieter in the ringing chamber? There is virtually nothing be=
tween the ringers and the bells (15 cwt, six, J. Warner, 1875) except the w=
ooden floor beneath the bells. Would old conveyor belt rubbers laid on thi=
s floor do the trick, or is it possible to purchase sound deadening tiles?=
