I expect David means that exact weights are given Shepton Mallet, Somerset, or Tytherington, Glos, where no documentary evidence exists to back up the exact weights. Other cases include Iron Acton, Glos, where the 13-0-23 quoted is the as-cast weight of the fifth; the tenor has never been weighed, and is approximately 15 1/2 cwt.
