I've seen the building from the outside (it's now a= Masonic hall or something along those lines) but never been inside. Of the= other two towers which formerly contained rings, St Julian's tower is now = a house, with the bells hung from chains in the base of the tower for clock= ing, and at St Alkmund the 8-bell frame remains, now containing a single sm= all bell hung for swing chiming. When I visited both bell chamber and ringi= ng room had been extensively colonised by pigeons, but I understand from so= meone who has been up there more recently that it has since been cleaned ou= t.
