<P>The Loughborough 'signature of "John Taylor and Son" appeared on
bells<BR>in the mid-C19th. If one looks at Master of My Art (Trevor
Jennings),<BR>p31, that partnership appeared to start officially in 1849.
However,<BR>George Dawson has pointed at bells bearing that signature dated
as<BR>early as 1847. We have an "end date" of 1858 (the year John
died.)<BR><BR>Can anyone point to bells bearing that signature earlier than
1847 please?<BR><BR>And an indication of which of the following Taylor bells
already in<BR>the pNBR in that period are KNOWN for a fact to bear that
signature<BR>would be most helpful (off-line) please should anyone have
