Practical Magazine of 1885 records that 10,000 house bells, cast by Messrs
Scholefield, Son & Goodman, each of 12oz. weight were supplied to a
West African Prince to adorn his new iron palace. Has anybody any information on
this founder and did they cast larger bells?</FONT></DIV>

that steel bells were cast in Dundyvan Iron Works, Scotland and in Dublin. Does
anybody know of existing bells cast at these locations?</FONT></DIV>
