size=2>There are two factors here. One is metal composition - with Gillett bells
it will be good, but with older bells it might well vary. There is also the fact
that profiles used by earlier founders may not translate well to the trebles of
higher numbers - the old profile coupled with the necessary extra thickness in
trebles of ten and 12 might well lead to errant harmonics becoming more
