Many thanks for all the information. I have passed that along to
Victoria.<br>

Victoria reports "I think they are still in the basement of First
United - now called Metropolitan First United". This is located at
932 Balmoral Road, Victoria, BC V8T 1A8, which is just off Quadra.<br>
<br>
We have been aware of these bells for a considerable time and have
looked for a home for them. However, we first have to get them away
from Metropolitan First United! <br>

<p>Alan, you have uncovered the "lost" chime of Metropolitan
United <br>
Church of Victoria, BC. The bells were removed from the tower of <br>
that building before it was sold to its present owner, the Victoria <br>
Conservatory of Music. See:<br>

Until your message, I had been unsuccessful in tracing what had <br>
happened to them.<br>

The 10 bells were cast and installed in 1938; largest is A, 9-1-1. <br>

Further details on their present location, how they got there, what's <br>
planned, etc. &c., would be most welcome!<br>
