<DIV>I have a hard-backed copy of "Fifty Notable Churches of London", published
by the Church Bells Office, London. It is bound in green cloth and has a
engraving of St Paul's Cathedral above the title on the cover and one of
Westminster Abbey below it.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It appears to be two separate booklets bound together, each with its
own title page and preface. The first starts with St Pauls Cathedral and
finishes on page 52 with the Temple Church. The second starts with Westminster
Abbey and concludes with St Margaret's, Westminster on page 59.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Although there is not much about the bells, those parishes which had
rings are mentioned. The engravings are excellent, some having been produced
from photographs.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Were books like these produced every so often as additional sale
items?</DIV>
