<P>An update for John Scott's excellent 'Towers and Bells of Devon' for
<BR>anyone interested. John mentions that St. Augustine's, Plymouth was
<BR>demolished in 2001 'and the bell has gone'.<BR>This bell is now hanging in
St. Budeaux Foundation CE Junior School and <BR>is chimed by children and
staff when they join and leave the school. It <BR>is hung for swinging on
bearings with the rope attached to a short <BR>lever.<BR><BR>David
