<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>An interesting sidelight of the Anglican Cathedral
bells in Bathurst. Of news of the capture of Sebastopol being received in
December 1855 "over-exuberant townspeople rushed into the belltower and struck
the bells with iron bars, cracking the tenor".
