inhospitable towers. For Christopher its study became a passion.
His 3 volume “Bells and Belfries of Dorset” won the 2007 award for
the outstanding contribution to the county’s archaeology and the reaction
to his death on the internet confirmed that his standing among the bell
fraternity combined profound respect with strong affection.’<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
