Southall. I think that they were the successors to the Aeolian company. I’m
pretty certain that they don’t exist any more. The last correspondence we

The inscription on the treble refers to the 'anonymous' donor, Fr.
Harker. Unfortunately I could not see this inscription last Friday
when we got to visit the tower. Attempting to obtain photographs
was also difficult, as they are in a steel I beam cage supported above the
large concrete beams and getting up to them would have been too dangerous.<br>
<br>
There is one question which I would ask. Have you any idea who made the chiming
mechanism,. not the clavier but the barrel-style automatic one. It
is in need of repairs and we are attempting to find out who made it, as no name
exists on the unit that we can find.<br>
<br>
Michael Evans and his father have offered to come out from Revelstoke and have
a look. Hopefully they will be able to help. Meanwhile any details
of the original would be very gratefully received.<br>
