this subject. Don’t forget Frittenden, Tunbridge Wells and
Edenbridge, not to mention St Mary Cray if we’re going to talk about good G
& J rings in the county. Bromley Common, Hunton and the newish
eight at Bickley are rather good too. <O></O></SPAN></FONT></P>

Ashford, Goudhurst, Lenham …come to think about it Mr Pickford, I think your
assertion is wrong: apart from counties such as Yorkshire, Devon and others
where there is a disproportionate number of modern rings (not all of them
good), Kent holds its head up rather well among other counties …but then, I am

because Hertfordshire is worse.<BR><ST1><ST1>Sussex</ST1></ST1> is on a par
with Essex Bedfordshire and a lot of other rather<BR>mixed counties.
Personally I think <ST1><ST1>Kent</ST1></ST1> has enough really good rings
to<BR>lift it out of the bottom order. No one has mentioned
<ST1>Maidstone</ST1> or<BR>Wrotham yet, Chatham sound good if rather tough,
amazing for Warner,<BR>probably there best effort. Lydd are a superb ring,
1926 g&j!, Sevenoaks<BR>are nice.<BR><BR><BR><FONT color=white><SPAN
