post-war state is too much of a risk. Mind you, the appearance of the vertical
ropes in the 5' 4" inclined ringing chamber would accord well with the bells. As
for St Paul's, I cannot see the prestigious organization leasing the building
from TCCT jumping with joy at the prospect of a "joke" ring. Now, if
someone could achieve with them what was significantly achieved at Thornborough,
the idea might be worth pursuing. Certainly in my view frame and tower are up to
it - but not as a joke.</FONT></DIV>
