time (1901) would be John C. Wilson & Co of the Gorbals Foundry. However,
there is no mention of this bell in the firm's records for the period 1900-1903
- not only under the name of New Glasgow, but no bell of this size (must of the
work of the period was small bells of 4" to 20") or for any Canadian
destination.</FONT></DIV>

Miller MAY have been making bells at the time, but none are known.</FONT></DIV>

research on the Glasgow founders - and together we have compiled a complete
abstract of the surviving (fairly complete) foundry records - it would be nice
to know more about the New Glasgow bell to see where it fits in.</FONT></DIV>
