There are a couple of secular clock bells in the Liverpool area that have internal clappers and evidence of being manually chimed with a rope at some point. Wavertree Clock Tower and The Cottage Homes Orphanage, Fazakerley, each have this arrangement. Was the Alnwick bell perhaps also used as a market bell? The nominals of the three bells are 2131Hz, 1779.5Hz and 2131Hz, approximately C, A, F#. There is no mention of them in the chimes spreadsheet on the Keltek site, nor do they appear in a quick web search.
