<div dir="ltr">I have sent David my list of War Memorial items relating to York Diocese directly and like some agree that this is possibly too late to do much about. It is also interesting the views taken as to what is a memorial and when it was installed. Perhaps the best guidance is the War Memorials website which (should) have a <span class="" id=":14k.1" tabindex="-1" style="">searchable</span> record of War Memorials. If a memorial is not on there perhaps it should be. If it is listed then when restoration is considered one might consider an application to the War Memorial Trust..
