was only a quick Googling session and as I'm off work sick at the
mo, it's nice to have some diversions!<br>

What would really augment the case is some proper genealogical
research - parish regs, censuses, etc.<br>
As it's a rare name, it may be possible to trace and differentiate
the various families (there may have been a small number of
Brakell families in Preston)</font><font face="Times New Roman"><font
face="Times New Roman"> at that time</font>, and then hopefully
a likely candidate for the bell donor might appear.<br>
But I leave that to you!<br>
