<div><div dir="auto">Let’s hope the Dove team are employing sound requirements management. Projects like this frequently get asked “please can you just add...” when folk get to know about them. It’s known as requirements creep or mission creep. It’s a frequent cause of public sector projects failing or escalating out of control (and then failing) when politicians get interested. It may certainly be possible to add more in the future but for now let’s hope they to stick closely to the original project brief and so deliver on time. </div></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">John</div><div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sat, 4 Jul 2020 at 15:49, Carl S Zimmerman <<a href="mailto:csz_stl@swbell.net">csz_stl@swbell.net</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div><div style="font-family:Helvetica Neue,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:16px"><div><div dir="ltr">This morning's email brought to me the Latest News from the Central Council, one item of which was a report on the progress and plans for improvements to Dove online. Undoubtedly most of you have seen that as well. That could include clocks (turret? electrical? other?), with identification of the bell(s) on which they strike as well as what they strike -- hour only? quarters? ting-tang or Cambridge (Westminster) or other? (Turret clock enthusiasts want to know!) It could include tune-playing equipment -- Ellacombe rack? electric hammers? drum?
