                                        If I remember correctly, Phil Corby knew the Rector through being on the Board of the Sir John Cass Foundation of perhaps via the Woolmen. He pledged himself to the Rector that if they were hung full circle he would see that they were rung on Sundays. <div>That turned out to be a big undertaking. There was little support from CY circles as all available arms were in use at St Paul's and Cornhill at the same time.</div><div>After Phil they were looked after by Bill Theobald I believe and the Whitechapel Foundry band. Bill's funeral was also there I recall.</div><div> Is there a band of any sort there now?<br><div><br></div><div class="mb_sig">AWRW</div>
