<font face="Times New Roman">This seems quite similar, though
probably on a larger scale, to the carillon at High Beech church
in Essex, which I got to play on an open day some years ago. The
steeple also seems to have a similar pitch (I mean incline not
note) to High Beech, so I wonder if that pitch is a factor of
having a carillon installation.<br>

I always thought the spelling was <i>carillion </i>too, and had
to look it up before replying! I'm sure <i>carillion </i>is used
locally for High Beech.<br>

<p>I have come across many videos of ringing and bells on the web
