Clouston, a prolific and much respected bell archaeologist. Sadly Ranald died in 2002 and, as far as I know, his papers are currently in storage, however, it is more than likely he furnished the parish with a copy of his findings, which a search through your church archives might reveal. Last year there was research done into the legend of the Luck of Muncaster which include the story of the bell in Muncaster church, also dedicated to Henry V1. This research is not yet published but I have seen a copy of it.
