One remains but the other was recast in 1863. I have attached three photos: one of the installation (which is unusual) and two, taken of the 1672 bell, showing the founder's mark and the dedication Michael (check the spelling). I also found that the plain bearings on the 1863 recast bell had been sealed with soft bitumen (or something very similar).</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: OpenSans-webfont , serif;color: rgb(51,51,51);">Any observations about the installation would be most welcome and also the identity of the founder.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: OpenSans-webfont , serif;color: rgb(51,51,51);">Ron East</span></p> </div> </div> <hr>_______________________________________________<br>
