Edward Horne, of Bishop’s Down, Tunbridge Wells, and in that respect are perfectly unique” (<i>Bell News, </i>28 April 1894 p.602)<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='letter-spacing:-.1pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='letter-spacing:-.1pt'>This dates the first usage of the invention. Rev. Edward Horne (as described in the report) was the Rev.
