<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">After ringing for a wedding yesterday at erith in kent I had a brief look at the bells with my friend max ganesh, as they where augmented by Mears and stainbank in 1882 I initially
assumed that the frame and fittings where by them but according to a contemporary report in the bell news these seem to have been the work of One George banks from Kennington, clearly he seems to have been a pretty competent ringer (ringing in the first peal
at erith with the Cumberlands) but I have never heard his name mentioned in connection with bellhanging and I would be interested to see if anyone can perhaps shed some light on him and if he did any other apart from this one?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
