Just out of mere curiosity does anyone have any memories of ringing on the old warner eight at holy trinity Gosport?, from what I can ascertain the tower seems to have had a band of some description shortly after the bells where installed around 1897 but thanks
to severe movement they don't seem to have been that popular and I can only assume that they may well have been unringable for long periods. I would also be interested to know when they where last rung as a notice in the ringing world from 1972 suggests that
ringing would have to be limited but I know weather this was because of complaints from local residents </div>
