Recently I have been doing a little bit of research on the famous Anglo catholic shrine of st Albans Holborn and I was wondering if anyone might know if has ever had any bells?, looking at postcards taken of the previous church before the Blitz there almost
certainly seems to have been a chime of at least six and in one shot of the west end a couple of sallied chiming ropes are clearly visible, I also believe the present church has a single bell apart from a report of it being rung for the death of then vicar
in 1965 I can't found out much about that either!.</div>
