Do we actually know this to be the case? I'm not aware that
any description of the composition exists.
That said, I agree that a composition with three calls is
the most likely possibility.
I understand that a composition similar (possibly identical)
to this does survive in Benjamin Annable's composition book
under the name 'Restoration Triples'.
