Who was that? I was instrumental in getting them rehung a few years ago
following an attempt by someone to steal them. (They only managed to lower 2
of them before they were disturbed.)

Or should I be able to guess from the association?

I heard a rumour yesterday that some well known Youthf tried to ring these
bells last weekend and ended up doing considerable damage. Apparently you
cannot open the access trap door because there is a bell sitting on it!

Oh dear - what will it do for their reputation!
