There have been 49 bells at Cobh since 1998. It is fully chromatic - the t=
wo bottom semitones which were as usual omitted from the instrument have be=
en supplied and the whole carillon rehung by Eijsbouts. It thus displaces A=
berdeen as the largest carillon in GBRI, but not the heaviest.=20=20
