....and here is the proof, taken in 1996, showing the lip of the 4th in the
top tier, the 5th in the middle and the tenor at the bottom; a frightening
installation! I finally rang on the bronze replacements last week and they
were really super.

Yes I can confirm Bamford was a three tier frame. I remember climbing up
there some 30 years ago thinking it was a tower where bells would never be
rung again. It shows just how wrong you can be!
