As I think I have said before, you can hear Great Abel from inside 
the offices of the Manchester Evening News on Deansgate, only a block 
or so away from the Granada studios, so you would certainly be able 
to hear it outdoors on the set of Coronation Street, I would have 
thought. The only surprise is that it's not been heard before.
