Ellacombe states in his book:
1 Bilbie 1784
2 Bilbie 1784
3 Rudhall? 1831
4 Purdue 1634 (seems to suit Roger Purdue 1 as the inscription is
the same as the 1630 bells which were at Chilcompton).
5 Purdue 1634 (Typical Purdue Inscription: COME WHEN I CALL TO
SERVE GOD ALL 1634)
6 Purdue 1634
I have a feeling that Ellacombe is right about the front 5. The tenor may be
an error.
