I agree the occasion is worth celebrating - but not with something as 
common as a peal, surely? We need to do something bell-historic!

How about a working party cataloguing brass-founder's bells in Welsh 
schoolrooms? Or a detailed inspection of some yet-to-be discovered 
unringable three? Something where we can all get grubby and write 
lots of notes. Bright ideas needed!
