Gilletts and Taylors

Christ Church, Elbow Park, Calgary are a mixed Gilletts / Taylors 
ring. They were cast in 1955, I think (based on reading the 
inscriptions on the web a few moments ago). When I rang there I was 
told that the order was placed with Gilletts but that G stopped 
casting bells as the work was in progress. As a result the back three 
were cast in Croydon and the front five at Loughborough. I do not 
know where they were tuned.

Unfortunately though I have rung there I did not look at the bells 
nor record them. The church has a good website

with details of the bells, email addresses for ringers etc. if anyone 
want to follow it up.
