Chris,

I can help with some vague information re Debenham. The tenor I 
believe is Taylors 1901 (I am groping in my memory here, I must have 
read this 15 or 20 years ago). It is said that some of the supporting 
timbers in the bellframe are pre-conquest.

My mother could find the exact date, her father learnt to ring there, 
I'm sure it would be in his diaries or peal book.
